Meet the ODA Fleet Manager
We built the ODA Fleet Manager for teams who run more than one Oracle Database Appliance (or even for those who just have one) and want a single place to monitor and manage all the estate on the ODA. The ODA Fleet Manager runs outside the appliance, on a management virtual machine you provide, and reaches every ODA over the network through the interfaces Oracle already publishes. From one console you read the health of every database in the fleet, open an appliance and see every cpu/memory/disk/controller inside it, and provision databases, DB systems, and application VMs through forms that show you the exact request before it sends. You get one console for your whole fleet without standing up a management platform larger than the appliances themselves. We built it on more than a decade of ODA deployment experience across the country.
